Spine Robot Work Log: June 2010

The images in the June 2010 gallery are the titanium 6AL-4V AMS 4928 bushings for the spine segments. They are press fit into the segments and are held in by snap rings. The best thing about making stuff out of titanium is the chips make blinding white light when they're burned!

These are all 58 of the spine segments with the hemispherical recess and edge radius machined in.
